Glidden Motorsports and driver Dion Ciccarelli continued their Research and Development testing at New Hampshire International Speedway this past weekend.  This was the team’s first time at New Hampshire International Speedway and they gained valuable information to gear up for next year’s schedule.  Upon arrival at NHIS, the team attempted to qualify for the NASCAR Busch Series Siemens 200 and while testing different race set-ups and packages, the #84 Ford qualified 41st, just outside of the provisional requirements.  The team gained valuable technical information and will use that data to build upon its program for the 2005 season.

The #84 Star Sales Ford had a great come-back this weekend at Nazareth Speedway in the Goulds Pumps ITT Industries 200.  The #84 Ford owned by Glidden Motorsports qualified 35th on time and finished 29th out of 43 cars.  During practice on Saturday, the car experienced a transmission failure and the #84 crew had to struggle to get the transmission changed in time for qualifying.  Their hard work paid off when driver Dion Ciccarelli shaved a second and half off his best practice time during qualifying.

Glidden Motorsports and the #84 Ford crew now set their sights on the upcoming race at Dover International Speedway, Dion’s home track.
